RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary
The primary role of this position will be to support the firm's retail trading activity. Senior Manager will act as an intermediary between E
TRADE client facing, middle office, and order management systems. Qualified candidate will have advanced knowledge of market structure, trading processes, and regulatory rules. Candidate will also be responsible for the enhancement of reporting and analysis of all functions of the order management process.

Responsibilities:

Review and process orders entered during U.S. market hours.
Review and process orders exceeding principal limits for U.S. markets trading.
Review and resolve trading inquiries for U.S. markets trading.
Enhance and develop new and innovative reporting of trading statistics.
General business analysis of current process and procedures.
Serve leadership role and effectively manage direct reports including:
Provide supervisor with input related to process improvement.
Monitor and assist direct reports with their production levels.
Monitor and evaluate system performance.
Handle inbound phone customer service inquiries and make outbound market center calls as needed.
Resolve intradepartmental escalations utilizing independent decision making.
Provide technical expertise relating to ETRADE's trading systems.
Reconcile and audit U.S. trading error accounts.
Identify areas in need of improvement and create workable solutions to problems.
Develop training materials and coordinate programs as needed on an ongoing basis.
Ability to communicate and work with various departments to improve procedures and minimize risk to the firm.

Education or training equivalent to: BA/BS preferably in business administration, finance or related field.
Must have FINRA series 7, 24, 63 licenses: 55 and 4 desired.
Ability to work flexible shift assignments to support Order Management Team

REQUIREMENTS

Preferred:

Demonstrated ability to function independently, as well as part of a team, with accuracy and consistency in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.
Extensive knowledge of equity and option markets.
Must have the ability to multitask, manage and mitigate risk to the firm by utilizing sound business judgment.
Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
Must have a demonstrated ability to acquire skills quickly, operate in fast paced environment and be able to work well under pressure.
Demonstrated initiative in acquiring new skills and willingness to participate in departmental projects as assigned.
Extensive knowledge of the securities industry, including specific knowledge in the areas of margins and account analysis, order lifecycle, reorganizations and P&S.
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Excellent judgment and problem solving skills required to handle and resolve high risk items.
Working knowledge of MS Suite programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Knowledge and skill pertaining to the review and reporting of trades:
Monitor exchange exceptions, research trade disputes, and assist internal/external business partners

Split, symbol change, and dividend adjustments
Open Order Reconciliation
Trade reconciliation
Order Audit Trail System (FINRA OATS)
